Can you introduce the work of the Canadian Christian Brigade?
The Canadian Christian Brigade is an outreach ministry that aims to reconnect with children and teens that have previously attended church as well as non believers. Through mentorship and sharing the gospel, we aim to bring them back into the church community.
What are the needs of the Brigade? How is the Brigade governed?
The development of the Brigade in Toronto is guided by God’s plan. We listen and follow wherever the church wants us to partner. It requires prayer, a shared vision, and teamwork to glorify God’s ministry.
Are there any urgent needs from families and children around our church for the Christian Brigade?
Yes! We have a waiting list of children who eager to join the Brigade and therefore partnering with local churches a priority.
What conditions and considerations are needed if a church wants to start a Christian Brigade?
Prayer is the most important in the initial stage. Having the same vision with Christian Brigade is the next step. Serving with enjoyment is also essential.
How does the Christian Brigade help with the evangelistic work of the church?
By anchoring Christian character through Bible studies and mentorship, we help strengthen their faith at an early stage in their lives.
Knowing that mentor involvement is crucial in the Christian Brigade, what considerations and requirements are there for taking on the role of a mentor?
Mentors must be 18 years or older, believe in Christ, and uphold the values of the Bible.
